Judy and Teresa are uplifted by episode 2 of “Go Go Waikiki” (으라차차 와이키키), a JTBC drama starring Kim JungHyun, Lee YiKyung, Song SeungWon, Jung InSun and Go WonHee.

Judy and Teresa reveal their distrust of anyone who's unceasingly pleasant. We also critique JoonGi (Kim JungHyun)'s lying technique. Judy keeps mixing up the names of JoonGi/DongGoo and SooAh/YoonAh a few times in this episode, but you get the gist. There are also so many musical references!

Digressions:

0:40 - Bonding over the "Animorphs" book series

5:10 - Babies?

35:27 - Chocopie vs Jos Louis

51:45 - How have Teresa and Robert not watched "Old Boy" yet?

Some Korean terms:

그루밍족: [geu-roo-ming-jok] literally "grooming tribe"; Korean version of "metrosexual".

아저씨: [ah-juh-ssi] mister.

화장실: [hwa-jang-sil] washroom.

임꺽정: [im-kkuk-jung] a famous Korean bandit from 1500s.

장승업: [jang-seung-up] a Korean painter from 1800s.

Audio credits:

Mozart - "Dies Irae"

Andrew Hale - L.A. Noire – “Main Theme”

"Archer" Season 1, Episode 2 - "Training Day"
