WE HAVE THOUGHTS. Judy and Linda mourn episodes 13-16 of "Twenty-Five, Twenty-One" (스물다섯, 스물하나), starring Kim TaeRi and Nam JooHyuk. It was great while it lasted.

Our next episode will be about the popular series, "Business Proposal" (사내 맞선) starring Kim SeJeong, Ahn HyoSeop, Kim MinKyu and Seol InAh. If you have suggestions for the Spring First Impressions episode, you know where you contact us!

Digressions:

1:26 - Listener E-mails!

16:22 - Both Judy *and* Linda watched the second season of "Bridgerton". It was definitely better than the first season, but it does become slightly tedious near the end. But the dresses!!!

22:07 - Judy watched "Turning Red", and it was fine. Perhaps Pixar has set our expectations too high, but somehow the ending felt trite to us. Is it too much for an animated movie to fix our real-life issues?

25:19 - Linda is almost done with "Business Proposal" (사내 맞선), and we'll be doing a special episode on it in two weeks.

26:38 - Judy is enjoying the newest looter shooter from 2K, "Tiny Tina's Wonderlands". It's lighthearted goofy fun! Obviously, Judy's main is a Stabbomancer.

28:42 - "Moon Knight" is the newest Marvel series on Disney+. It's disorienting at times (on purpose), but so interesting!

55:25 - What are we gonna watch now?

Some Korean terms:

매국노: [meh-gook-no] traitor that has sold out one's country.

짜장면 [jja-jang-myeon]: black bean noodles; a favourite delivery food for Koreans.

이쁜이: [ee-ppeun-ee] cutie.

함부로 말하지마: [ham-boo-roh-mal-ha-jee-ma] "Don't say things you're going to regret"; literally "don't talk recklessly".

싸가지 없어: [ssa-ga-ji-up-suh] impolite; lacking in manners.

Audio Credits:

Ludwig Goransson - "Turning Red" - "Turning Red"

BABYMETAL - "Gimme chocolate!!" (ギミチョコ!!)

Hashem Nazih - "Moon Knight" - "Moon Knight"

THEIR FORM WASN'T PERFECT BUT THEIR FOLLOW-THROUGH WAS ALRIGHT. Judy and Linda commentate on episodes 9-12 of "Twenty-Five, Twenty-One" (스물다섯 스물하나), starring Kim TaeRi and Nam JooHyuk.

Digressions:

1:49 - Listener E-mails! There may be some "Boys Over Flowers" ranting.

14:15 - Linda is all caught up on "Business Proposal" (사내 맞선), which is tongue-in-cheek rom-com fun!

16:45 - Judy watched episode 7 of "Thirty, Nine" (서른, 아홉) and HOLY JEEBUS it was tedious and infuriating. We have officially given up on it.

23:32 - Linda has finished watching all of "True Beauty" (여신강림), and it was dumb fun.

25:23 - Judy is playing "Chicken Police - Paint it RED!", a Polish indie video game with surprising depth and production values. If you enjoy film noirs, it might be worth checking out!

28:19 - Linda watched Pixar's latest film, "Turning Red", which is great, but it's missing a little something that she can't quite put her finger on.

30:50 - ***SPOILER WARNING*** Linda watched "Spider-Man: No Way Home", which is fun but not as great as the first two movies starring Tom Holland.

33:03 - On Apple TV+, there's a Broadway production of "Come From Away". Linda LOVED it.

34:15 - "The Adam Project" is a typical fun Ryan Reynolds action movie.

34:32 - Linda usually detests anything to do with "Romeo and Juliet" but she found Steven Spielberg's remake of "West Side Story" watchable for the dancing and singing.

36:17 - Linda tried "How I Met Your Father", and does not recommend it.
