AH, THE PASSION OF YOUTH! Judy and Linda feel hopeful after trying out some new February K-dramas.

Digressions:

0:57 - Listener E-mails!

13:49 - Judy was expecting more Henry Cavill sword fighting from the second season of "The Witcher".

17:09 - Linda watched the second season of "Sweet Magnolias" which is a bit cloying but easy to digest.

19"02 - Judy loves Ali Wong and her latest comedy special, "Don Wong" is out on Netflix!

21:23 - "Forecasting Love and Weather" (기상청 사람들: 사내연애 잔혹사 편) is a JTBC drama set at the Korean Meteorological Administration, of all places. It stars Park MinYoung and Song Kang. It's gotta be funded by KMA, seeing as how they love showing montages of why accurate weather prediction is so important? And graphs. So many graphs.

38:25 - "Twenty-Five, Twenty-One" (스물다섯 스물하나) is a TVN drama with strong "Reply 1988" vibes. It stars Kim TaeRi and Nam JooHyuk as bright-eyed youths against the background of the 1990s IMF crisis. They are an absolute delight to watch.

50:30 - "Thirty, Nine" (서른, 아홉) stars Son YeJin, Jeon MiDo and Kim JiHyun as a strong-knit group of friends. This TVN slice-of-life drama also has 3 male leads, but who really cares about them? The leading ladies have great chemistry and we're looking forward to what's going to happen next.

Some Korean terms:

불륜남: [bool-lyoon-nam] adulterer (male).

Audio credits:

Joseph Trapanese - "The Witcher: Season 2 OST" - "Kaer Morhen"

Nickel Creek - "Destination"

It's all e-mails and midambles, baby! Judy and Linda catch up on a lot of e-mails and random stuff they've been doing for the past 2 months.

We'll be doing a First Impressions episode soon, featuring "Thirty, Nine" (서른, 아홉) starring Son YeJin, Jeon MiDo and Kim JiHyun, "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" (스물다섯 스물하나) starring Kim TaeRi and Nam JooHyuk and "Forecasting Love and Weather" (기상청 사람들: 사내연애 잔혹사 편) starring Park MinYoung and Song Kang.

18:36 - Judy watched all of "The Silent Sea" (고요의 바다), starring Gong Yoo, Bae DooNa and Kim SunYoung. Watch out for ***MAJOR SPOILERS*** 21:19-21:50!

24:15 - Linda enjoyed the chemistry between Choi WooSik and Kim DaMi on "Our Beloved Summer" (그 해 우리는), but alas, extraneous nonsense.

38:12 - Judy is loving the absurdity of "What We Do in the Shadows". The first two seasons are now available on Disney+. Check it out if you like Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement's work!

40:25 - Linda and Judy found "Hawkeye" to have a great balance between comedy and drama. Who knew we would look forward to a show starring arguably the worst Avenger?

42:04 - Wow, "Eternals" is bland bland bland. ***MAJOR SPOILERS BUT DO YOU CARE*** at 42:04-44:19.

47:24 - Linda finally finished "Squid Game" (오징어 게임)! We do not like this trend of trying to force shows into multiple seasons.

49:44 - If you haven't started yet, Judy insists that you watch "The Book of Boba Fett". You might think "Where the heck is this going?", but Judy INSISTS. You won't regret it.

50:39 - Linda gave up on the Marvel animated series, "What If?" after 10 minutes. Yeah, don't bother.

51:49 - Judy is a newbie at "Sea of Thieves". Even though there are scary PVP randos around, it's the only chance to kind of be at a beach and eat a coconut, dammit! Also, watch "Master and Commander", you cowards!

58:41 - Linda is sad about the slapdash final season of "Kim's Convenience". Get your stuff together, CBC!

59:40 - Judy needed another Bioware RPG with romance, so obviously she played "Dragon Age: Inquisition"! Who is her DA boyfriend? *psst* He'll never be as good as Garrus.

1:02:29 - Linda rewatched "Anne with an E" and is saddened by its premature end. For heaven's sake, CBC!

1:05:12 - Judy loves the heartwarming stories from "Queer Eye". If you need affirmation that you are good and are worth good things, please try it out.
